I like to think I’m pretty good at keeping an eye out for the good stuff. Like Shauna Niequist, I try to keep a low bar for wonder and delight. But I might not be as good as I think. Last week a friend posted a photo online with the following caption.
"Every May the northern starflowers bloom in my little urban forest and I am deliriously happy."
I looked at the photo he had shared of a plant with tiny star-shaped flowers and thought: Huh, I have never seen those before.
