I loved reading this, this morning Tara. You're right, we just get so busy and stop making those memories. Time to start xo

Thanks so much, Pip! Isn't it true? Especially when we get busy with projects (you two are such hard workers!).

I'm taking my own advice and visiting a new garden with a friend tomorrow. Memory making! :-) https://www.heronswoodgarden.org/

I have an annual retreat with my quilter friends! We go to the same retreat house every year. We don’t plan the same meals, but the trip has a certain predictable nature because we work on our sewing projects and shop at the local quilt shop. We’ve added a travel massage session to it as well, so that’s an extra benefit for the ones who want it. We see each in various configurations during the year and keep a group text going, but the annual retreat is just special. It’s wonderful to have it on the calendar to look forward to it. It helps that we found a great venue, but if it gets sold someday I know we can make a different one work. Highly recommend!!!
